Biography

Anthony ‘Mini’ Minichiello the second most-capped player in Sydney Roosters history with 302 games.  He is also the all-time try scorer in Sydney Roosters history.  In an NRL career that spanned over 15 seasons, Mini played in six grand finals and won two Premierships. The first was in 2002 and in 2013, he captained the Roosters to the Minor Premiership before he led the team to Premiership glory. In the representative arena, he played for Australia on 19 occasions, made 11 appearances for the NSW Blues and represented NSW City four times he captained Italy in the 2013 World Cup.

In 2006 persistent back, neck and ankle injuries looked like they would halt his career. But a determination to succeed led to the rebuilding of his body and lifestyle.  Discovering the power of nutrition and how it can heal and repair the body.  Since his retirement, Mini has continued to promote the importance of health and fitness being the founder of MINIFIT delivering nutrition workshops and running health & fitness programs in schools and during the holidays for kids to drive real change around growing up healthy and strong.  Another program Mini is involved in is the Changeroom a holistic wellbeing program that helps people rediscover their wellbeing and return to work.
