There are similarities between influencers and brand ambassadors, but also some clear distinctions.

Brand Ambassadors typically enter into longer term partnerships with the brands that they represent. Most partnerships are 12-months in length which creates a deeper relationship between the brand and celebrity ambassador, a more credible endorsement, and authentic bond which is evident in the content created. Brand ambassadors generally appear in advertising campaigns, social media, on the brands website, and they can often attend key brand events or launches.
