The Proposition
Where Madison Avenue Meets Hollywood
Local relationship. Hollywood access. Global entertainment exposure.
FastBreak Entertainment is a premier entertainment marketing and product placement agency headquartered in Los Angeles, connecting brands to film, television, and digital content platforms.
Together, we deliver strategic, story-first brand integrations that elevate visibility, build cultural relevance, and drive measurable value — with clear scopes and no surprise production fees.
The Process
How We Work Together
An always-on approach to Hollywood product placement.
Product placement doesn’t work like traditional media buying. The right opportunities emerge throughout the production cycle — sometimes months ahead, sometimes at very short notice.
That’s why we represent brands on an ongoing monthly basis, continually sourcing, assessing and progressing opportunities that fit your products, audience and brand strategy.
We start by getting to know your brand.
Together we define your objectives, target audiences, priority products, markets, categories, brand guidelines and any environments or content you want to pursue — or avoid.
This becomes the working brief used by Talent Corp and FastBreak to assess opportunities on your behalf.
Your brand joins our active product placement roster on a monthly retainer.
Rather than searching for one predetermined production, FastBreak represents your brand within its Los Angeles entertainment network and continually looks for relevant opportunities across film, television, streaming and other entertainment productions.
The longer runway gives us more opportunities to find the right fit.
As productions and briefs emerge, FastBreak identifies opportunities that match your brand, products and objectives.
We assess each opportunity for creative fit, audience relevance, timing, product requirements, category conflicts and commercial considerations before bringing the most relevant opportunities to you.
Have a particular film, series, genre or type of character in mind? We can factor those priorities into the search too.
You remain in control of what your brand participates in.
When a suitable opportunity emerges, we provide the available details and work with you through approvals, product requirements, releases, timing and logistics.
Where an opportunity involves additional production fees, paid integration or promotional rights, these are identified and agreed with you before proceeding.
Once approved, FastBreak works directly with the production to facilitate the placement while Talent Corp manages the relationship locally.
We track activity, report on placements and continue looking for the next opportunity throughout your engagement.
Because Hollywood production never stands still, neither does your product placement program.

HOW PRODUCT PLACEMENT WORKS
Product placement integrates a brand, product, packaging, logo or other identifiable brand asset into entertainment content.
Depending on the opportunity, a product might be used by a character, appear naturally within a scene, be visible within a set or location, or form part of a broader entertainment marketing opportunity.
The objective is to create authentic brand visibility within entertainment rather than interrupt the audience with a conventional advertising message.
Opportunities may arise across areas including:
- Feature films
- Scripted television
- Streaming series
- Unscripted and reality programming
- Digital entertainment
- Other appropriate entertainment and production environments
FastBreak publicly identifies relationships within the entertainment ecosystem including Warner Bros., Netflix, NBCUniversal, Paramount, 20th Century Studios, Lionsgate, HBO Max, Apple and Hulu.
Importantly, these relationships should not be interpreted as a guarantee that a particular brand can appear in a particular studio’s production or platform. Each opportunity is subject to the individual production, creative requirements and approvals.
Not necessarily.
Traditional advertising purchases defined media inventory. Product placement generally involves integrating the product into entertainment content where it makes sense creatively.
There may also be opportunities involving paid integrations, promotional partnerships, sponsorships or broader entertainment marketing programs. Talent Corp and FastBreak will identify the appropriate approach depending on the brand’s objectives and available opportunities.
You can certainly identify priority properties, genres, actors, audiences or platforms.
However, access to a particular production cannot automatically be guaranteed. Productions ultimately determine what can be incorporated into their content, and decisions can be influenced by creative suitability, timing, category conflicts, production requirements and existing commercial arrangements.
A useful brief therefore combines aspirational targets with broader criteria around the audience and environments in which the brand wants to appear.
This should be assessed opportunity by opportunity.
Film and television production is inherently fluid. Scripts, scenes, characters, edits and release schedules can change during development, filming and post-production.
FastBreak and Talent Corp will therefore distinguish between opportunities that are prospective, approved, confirmed, filmed and ultimately visible in the released content.
Where a particular opportunity has contractual guarantees attached to it, those guarantees would be clearly documented separately.
BRAND STRATEGY
A wide variety of brands can potentially benefit, particularly products that can appear naturally in everyday life or contribute authentically to a character, environment or storyline.
Relevant categories can include:
- Automotive
- Fashion and apparel
- Beauty and personal care
- Consumer electronics
- Food and beverage
- Travel and lifestyle
- Home and interiors
- Sports and fitness
- Consumer goods
- Accessories
- Technology
- Emerging and challenger brands
Every brand is assessed individually for suitability.
No.
One of the potential attractions for brands from Australia, Asia and the South Pacific is the ability to explore entertainment exposure beyond their home market.
The important considerations are normally product relevance, availability, audience objectives, brand positioning, production suitability and the brand’s ability to support the opportunity.
Potentially, yes.
US distribution can be advantageous for some opportunities, but it does not automatically determine whether a product is appropriate for a production.
The FastBreak team can assess the brand, product, visual identity, category and production requirements to determine where realistic opportunities may exist.
Product availability and logistics would also need to be considered.
We begin with a strategic brand brief. This can include:
- Target audience
- Priority markets
- Brand positioning
- Product categories
- Hero products
- Desired characters or consumer profiles
- Relevant genres
- Brand values
- Content sensitivities
- Competitive restrictions
- Geographic priorities
- Timing and campaign objectives
FastBreak can then assess opportunities against this brief as relevant productions arise.
Yes.
Brands should identify any important exclusions or sensitivities at briefing stage.
These could relate to matters such as mature content, violence, alcohol, gambling, politics, particular character types, controversial subject matter or any context that would conflict with brand guidelines.
Clear parameters make it easier to evaluate opportunities efficiently.
Brand approvals form an important part of the process.
Talent Corp’s role under its agreement with FastBreak specifically includes obtaining necessary brand approvals for placements.
The exact approval process may vary depending on the production and opportunity, so brands should establish their approval requirements at the beginning of the engagement.
CONTROL & CREATIVE DECISIONS
That depends on the nature of the placement.
Entertainment productions retain control over their creative content. Product placement is therefore different from producing a conventional television commercial where the advertiser controls the finished advertisement.
Where detailed brand treatment, scripted messaging, guaranteed screen time or other defined deliverables are required, a more formal paid integration or promotional arrangement may be necessary.
We will help establish expectations before progressing an opportunity.
Not automatically.
Productions control characters, scripts, performances and editorial decisions.
A brand can communicate usage guidelines, mandatory restrictions and brand sensitivities. Where a particular use or depiction needs to be contractually controlled, this would need to form part of the relevant agreement for that opportunity.
Productions can change during filming and editing.
For this reason, FastBreak and Talent Corp will endeavour to distinguish clearly between an opportunity, an approved placement, a filmed placement and the final appearance in released content.
Any specific contractual commitments should be documented for the individual opportunity.
APPROVALS, TRADEMARKS & RELEASES
Depending on the production, appropriate approvals or release documentation may be required.
The FastBreak/Talent Corp operating framework specifically contemplates product placement, property, signage, logo, location and appearance release forms where requested by productions, studios, networks, streaming platforms or other media producers.
These releases are intended to facilitate the approved filming, display and exhibition of the brand’s relevant products, trademarks, logos, packaging or associated materials.
The partnership framework does not contemplate transferring ownership of a client’s intellectual property simply through the placement release process.
Release authority is intended to enable approved products, logos, packaging and related assets to appear in the relevant content. It is not intended to allow FastBreak to transfer ownership of the brand’s IP or enter unrelated licensing arrangements on the client’s behalf.
Specific production documentation should nevertheless always be reviewed in accordance with the brand or agency’s internal legal requirements.
Yes.
Brands and agencies should involve their legal or brand-governance teams wherever their own internal policies require it.
The objective is to make the approval and release process as efficient as possible while protecting both the production’s requirements and the brand’s intellectual property.
PRODUCT & LOGISTICS
For many physical product placements, product will need to be made available to the production.
Requirements will depend on the production and could potentially include multiple product units, variations, replacement stock or specific packaging.
The relevant requirements should be confirmed before products are shipped.
The logistics model should be established for each client engagement.
International brands should allow for shipping time, customs, duties, product restrictions, insurance and production deadlines.
Where possible, brands with US inventory or distribution may find this simplifies fulfilment.
The more flexibility the brand provides, the better.
Some entertainment opportunities can arise at relatively short notice, while others may be identified considerably earlier in the production cycle.
Brands that have completed onboarding, approvals and product preparation can generally respond more quickly when a suitable opportunity emerges.
[Talent Corp/FastBreak should establish a recommended minimum onboarding timeframe.]
COST & COMMERCIAL MODEL
Brands engage with us on a monthly retainer for an agreed term. This retainer covers your brand’s ongoing representation and our active pursuit of product placement opportunities across the entertainment ecosystem.
Because individual production requirements vary, any third-party production fees or costs associated with specific paid integrations fall outside the scope of the standard retainer and will always be quoted separately for your approval prior to proceeding.
Talent Corp will develop a tailored proposal outlining the retainer and term length once your brand brief and objectives have been established.
No, Not in our Model. Product placements are facilitates as part of your retainer.
MEASUREMENT & REPORTING
Measurement should be aligned to the brand’s objectives.
Potential measures can include:
- Placement achieved
- Production/title
- Brand or product featured
- Nature of the appearance
- Release/platform information
- Audience reach where reliable data is available
- Social or earned-media amplification
- Strategic relevance to the brand
Product placement should generally be evaluated as part of a broader entertainment and brand-building strategy rather than solely through conventional paid-media metrics.
Reporting requirements can be established as part of the engagement.
Because production confidentiality and content-access restrictions may apply before release, the timing and type of evidence available can vary.
AGENCIES
Yes.
The service can work particularly well with agencies that want to add entertainment marketing and Hollywood product placement capabilities without establishing their own Los Angeles entertainment-placement infrastructure.
Talent Corp can work with the agency as the regional relationship lead while FastBreak provides entertainment-industry capabilities from Los Angeles.
Yes with approval from Fastbreak via Talent Corp
Talent Corp is the official regional business development partner and acts as the principal commercial interface for clients it introduces within the designated region.
For agency relationships, roles, communications and approvals should be established at onboarding so the agency continues to have an appropriate relationship with its client while FastBreak can communicate effectively regarding opportunities.
INTERNATIONAL & REGIONAL CONSIDERATIONS
Yes, the audience objective can form part of the brief.
However, many US film and streaming productions distribute globally. This means a brand may consider both its home-market objectives and the wider international audience associated with the entertainment property.
Availability and release patterns vary by title and platform, so these should be evaluated opportunity by opportunity.
Not automatically.
Appearance of a product within entertainment content does not necessarily provide the brand with rights to use footage, stills, actors, character names, production titles, studio logos or other entertainment intellectual property in its own marketing.
Any promotional or amplification rights should be separately confirmed before the brand uses entertainment assets in advertising, PR, retail or social channels.
Potentially, but brands should obtain confirmation regarding what can be said and what assets can be used.
There is an important distinction between stating a factual product appearance and using copyrighted footage, photography, talent likenesses, production artwork, trademarks or official promotional materials.
We recommend discussing amplification plans with Talent Corp before publishing associated marketing.
Brands remain responsible for their own regulatory and advertising compliance within markets in which they operate and promote the resulting activity.
Local regulations can differ substantially between jurisdictions and product categories.
Any subsequent advertising campaign that leverages an entertainment association should therefore be assessed by the brand and its advisers under the relevant local rules.
CONFIDENTIALITY
Potentially, information about productions or opportunities may be confidential.
Both the FastBreak/Talent Corp relationship and production environments can involve confidential information. Brands and agencies may therefore be required to respect confidentiality, embargoes or other restrictions around upcoming titles, casting, storylines or placements.
Only where the appropriate parties have approved the announcement.
Studios and productions frequently control publicity around unreleased content. Brands should not assume that participation automatically gives them the right to announce a production relationship.
Always obtain clearance before public disclosure.
CONFIDENTIALITY
A strong starting brief should include:
- Brand and company overview
- Primary markets
- Target audiences
- Key products/SKUs
- Brand positioning
- Entertainment and cultural interests
- Preferred genres
- Priority platforms or productions
- Brand exclusions and sensitivities
- Competitor considerations
- Campaign dates
- Product availability in the US
- Available product quantities
- Budget parameters
- Internal approval contacts
- Legal/brand guidelines
- Reporting expectations
The first step is a discovery and briefing session with Talent Corp.
Following the brief, the team can assess brand suitability, establish the operating parameters and begin coordinating with FastBreak Entertainment in Los Angeles.
Completing brand guidelines, approvals, product information and logistics early can make the brand significantly more responsive when opportunities emerge.
